Antonello Salis - Live in Florence '79

One of my favourite italian pianist, here just at the
beginning of his activity as soloist.
It's still clear the influence of Cecil Taylor (among
others), but even his distinctive approach, intensely
physical, to the piano.

Rec. live in Florence, Italy, on July 4th, 1979
(mics recording)

Antonello Salis,piano

1. Improvisation (45:57)
2. Encore (11:45)

Total Time 57:43

Well, I get a slightly different message:

This file is suspected to contain illegal content and has been blocked. After the file has been blocked for 7 days it will automatically be deleted, if the block is not removed by RapidShare. For this reason, a download of this file is currently not possible.

What's that all about, I wonder?

You could rename the files and try another upload or switch to another service if it doesn't work.

I was sitting right in the first row during this nice solo performance. As fas as I remember a very hot afternoon. Must have been the Centro Andrea del Sarto. I had my small cassette recorder - low quality compared to today but just for the memory. There was an Italian who recorded it as well - sitting beside me on the floor. At that age we didn't need chairs. Quite opposite now.
